As a company dedicated to the health and wellbeing of underserved people globally, we are deeply concerned about the effects of COVID-19 on the communities we serve. While COVID-19 spreads rapidly, we continue providing our partners with critical services as well as responding to the growing crisis. We are supporting partners in pivoting to enable programme continuity, while also developing new ways of supporting preparedness and response efforts across the globe.

Scope is actively contributing to the Inter-agency Working Group of Reproductive Health in Crises. We are researching and advocating for improved COVID-19 services for vulnerable populations, as well as designing rapid, remote means to co-create emergency responses, facility improvements, and community mobilisation efforts.

The Missing Billion

Supported formation of global initiative advocating for health equality for persons with disabilities, as well as designing brand and online presence.
The Missing Billion

Nearly 15% of the world’s population has a disability. These approximately 1 billion people are more likely to be denied healthcare, face discrimintation in health services, and suffer from malnutrition and chronic diseases, among other healthcare disparities. The Missing Billion initiative works to transform health systems to address these inequalities and ensure better healthcare access and outcomes for everyone, including people with disabilities.

Scope supported the formation of the initiative and most recently designed its new brand and first iteration website. We continue to partner with the Missing Billion, along with people living with disabilities and systems actors, to identify gaps, compile best practices, co-create new service models, and advocate for more inclusive health systems around the world.
