This summer, Scope Impact provided a disability inclusive summer trainee programme, welcoming six young adults for their first professional internship. The dedicated trainees carried out desk research projects focusing on the intricate link between climate and health.
What made this programme particularly special was the unique perspective each trainee brought to our work. The success and mutually rewarding experience of this programme has proven the need for, and reinforced our dedication to, inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
At Scope Impact, we are committed to ensuring that everyone has the chance to contribute meaningfully to their chosen fields. We all need to do more to become inclusive employers for people living with disabilities to gain valuable experience, enter and succeed in the workplace!
