We are excited to share that Perfect E. Asamoah has joined Scope Impact as a research associate. She is a licensed public health officer specializing in Disease Control and Prevention in Ghana. With 4 years of experience as a Research Assistant at Dodowa Health Research Organization (DHRC), Perfect has led various projects, including a multinational clinical trial supervising 25+ field workers in participant recruitment, enrollment, and safety. She also has experience in implementing community-based interventions like introducing a Point of Care Diagnostic test at Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds to improve the management of illnesses that cause sudden high fevers.
Her research skills encompass project design, primary data collection, qualitative data analysis, report writing, presentation, and conducting reviews. She is deeply passionate about research that employs complex science-informed approaches to investigate health policy, systems, and services. Currently, she is near completion of an MSc in Global Health at the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh.
