We are excited to announce that Scope Impact has entered a partnership with Jamk University of Applied Sciences to support the design of a new global digital first rehabilitation platform through the AIRe-platform project.

This comes at a time when an estimated 2.4 billion people across the world live with a health condition that would benefit from rehabilitation, but are unable to receive the services they need. Additionally, existing solutions offered in the market are fragmented and do not support a holistic and changing rehabilitation process.

The AIRe-Platform project takes a user-first approach and  seeks to tap into the integration of AI, tech-driven approaches in support of digital rehabilitation.

In this project, we will support and train Jamk’s project team and tech partners in applying human-centered design (HCD), service design and system thinking towards integrating the end-user perspectives all along the design and development process of the AIRe-Platform.

We will work with the project team to capture, analyze and define end-user, provider and system actor perspectives and needs in context, as well as identifying the core elements of the rehabilitation service that can be applied globally and adapted locally.

We look forward to embarking on this journey and exploring how we can best respond to the diverse needs for access to rehabilitation services, in collaboration with JAMK University, researchers, developers, user groups and health system partners!
