Mari Tikkanen to join Board of Advisors advancing human-centred design in global health

Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and U.S. Agency for International Development have set up a Board of Advisors to incorporate the wealth of expertise across the human-centred design community in global health. M4ID’s Co-founder and Co-CEO Mari Tikkanen is invited to join the Board to share M4ID’s expertise in advancing global development and health through social innovation, human-centred design and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The aim of the Board of Advisors is to clarify the role of human-centred design in global health. The goal is to develop tools and resources for global health practitioners to use HCD in their work, and create a strategic roadmap for demonstrating and amplifying the successful application of HCD in global health.
