Dr Sudharsanam joins the Scope Impact Board

We are excited to announce that Dr Sudharsanam Balasubramaniam, Director Global Health, and long-time staff member at Scope Impact, has joined our Board of Directors. As an epidemiologist and community health expert, Dr Sud brings a unique perspective and experience to the board, and we are thrilled to have him as a representative of our dedicated staff.

As a social impact company,  it is essential to have a diverse group of voices and views represented at all levels of decision-making, including at Board level.  We believe that having staff representation on the board is important for ensuring that our actions align with our values and that we are effectively serving the communities we seek to support. 

Dr Sud brings to the Board an understanding of the day-to-day operations, the needs of our staff, the impact goals of the company  as well as a deep commitment to the health of underserved communities. With his 17 years of experience in maternal, neonatal, child, adolescent, and reproductive health, non-communicable diseases, nutrition, child protection, as well as programme impact evaluation, Sud will play a critical role in shaping the direction of Scope, our Halla Health service, and ensuring that we are always working towards our goal of promoting and protecting the health of people globally.
