We are thrilled to announce that the first of its kind climate and health resilience sprints in Sindhupalchowk district of Nepal have been successfully completed. Through climate data and the lens of human-centered generative tools, we have identified location specific climate change hazards, captured the lived experiences of climate change amongst the community and mapped associated health risks as identified by health workers.

A key outcome has been the identification of resilience gaps and interventions needed to support community health workers in addressing emerging, new health needs. We have also incorporated learnings from the six co-designed interventions and research outcomes into our partner Medic’s mobile Community Health Toolkit.

Scope has also been able to leverage the discovery work and feedback on our climate and health tools to further iterate on these. We have now designed the next phases of the work together with Medic and are looking forward to sharing our learnings at the upcoming COP 28 in Dubai.
