Scope Impact’s mission is to protect health in a changing climate. We’re building digital solutions that help communities and health systems adapt to a rapidly changing world.

We’re looking for a visionary Tech Lead to shape and deliver the technology behind our twoambitious system products:

• Halla Health – A global digital platform for climate-resilient self-care, launching first in India and scaling across Asia, Africa, and Europe.
• CHART (Climate Health Adaptation and Resilience Tool) – A decision-support and planning tool for governments and frontline organizations to assess risks and adapt health responses to climate impacts.

This is an unique opportunity to architect meaningful, inclusive tech, from MVP to scale, and help build digital infrastructure for a climate-resilient future.

What You’ll Do

• Set the technical direction and lead system architecture for Halla Health and CHART
• Manage external development teams, ensuring timely, high-quality builds and build our own core team over time
• Translate user research and co-creation into scalable, modular systems
• Ensure interoperability, security, and data privacy, especially for health data
• Apply AI/ML/NLP where it meaningfully supports users and solution outcomes
• Oversee technical documentation and long-term sustainability planning

You Bring

• 6+ years in software/platform development; 3+ years in technical leadership
• Proven experience delivering full platforms (ideally in health, climate, or public sector tech)
• Strong knowledge of modular architecture, open-source tools, mobile frameworks (React Native / Flutter), and cloud platforms
• Understanding of health data privacy and consent frameworks
• A systems mindset and the ability to navigate complexity
• Bonus: Experience with AI/ML/NLP tools, digital public infrastructure, or LMIC-focused platforms

We are ideally looking for this team member to be based in Finland or India.
