Operations Manager – New Delhi

Scope Impact is seeking a Operations Manager – New Delhi.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day global and regional operations of our growing social impact company. Based in New Delhi, the Operations Manager will ensure the smooth functioning of internal systems and processes, manage organizational resourcing, lead improvement initiatives, contribute to HR processes, and serve as a critical link across diverse global teams, partners, funders and programmes.

What you’ll do

1. Operations Leadership

● Design, implement, and improve internal practices, processes and workflows for day-to-day product delivery, programme and company operations

● Oversee procurement, vendor management, compliance, and general administration

● Design, implement and maintain internal knowledge management systems, including maintaining accurate records and operational documentation

● Implement AI into the company’s operational processes, in order to drive efficiency, cost savings, and better decision-making

 

2. Resourcing and Project Support

● Improve company resource management, including tracking team workloads, project pipelines, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams together with team leads

● Support the coordination and execution of product focused deliverables

● Troubleshoot bottlenecks and support teams in adapting to shifting priorities

 

3. HR and People Support

● Support recruitment processes including candidate selection and onboarding.

● Assist in developing HR policies and processes

● Support team development initiatives such as training calendars, peer-to-peer-learning sessions, and team-building activities

● Foster a strong, values-driven workplace culture that supports collaboration and wellbeing

 

4. Stakeholder Coordination

● Serve as a point of contact for operations for local and international partners, vendors, and funders

● Support scheduling, logistics, and documentation for external meetings

● Support in coordinating reporting and compliance requirements with funders and other stakeholders

 

5. Cross-Team Collaboration

● Facilitate operations related alignment and communication across product design, programme implementation and evaluation, research, and innovation teams

● Help translate high-level strategies into operational plans

● Lead or support cross-functional working groups or improvement initiatives

 

You Bring

● Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business Administration, Public Administration, Development Studies, or related field is a plus

● A minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience in operations, administration, or programme management, ideally within the social impact, climate or public health sectors

● Experience working with diverse and remote teams

● Prior exposure to donor-funded projects or philanthropic reporting is a strong asset

● Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across cultures and disciplines

● Proactive problem-solver and systems-thinker

● Comfortable with the ambiguity of innovation processes and adaptive to change

● High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
