Scope Impact is pleased to have participated in the recent Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Summit in New Delhi, hosted by the Nand & Jeet Khemka Foundation and the India Climate Collaborative.
The summit brought together high level government, philanthropic and climate experts to address the urgent need for enhanced climate adaptation solutions in the face of the accelerating health impacts of climate change.
In collaboration with the UBS Optimus Foundation, Scope Impact organized an interactive session, led by Dr Sonali Daniel, titled ‘Driving Climate x Health Community Resilience and Adaptation by Combining Local Knowledge with Climate Science.’ She was joined by Dr. Karan Thakur, who moderated the session. The action-oriented discussion sought to establish a shared understanding of the needs of communities and health actors, as well as presenting CHART, our digital adaptation tool, for input and feedback. The response was very positive , with requests to add new geographies for the implementation of CHART.
We extend our gratitude to all partners and participants who contributed to the success of this summit and look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts to protect and future proof health across the globe.
